Gamma exposure (GEX) by ticker

Estimated dealer gamma exposure for 43 widely traded US tickers — index and sector ETFs alongside individual stocks — net and gross GEX, the zero gamma flip level and the heaviest strikes. The site is rebuilt nightly from the latest upstream settlement available. The latest settlement in this build is 2026-08-31; individual ticker pages may carry different dates. In that latest cross-section, 23 of 43 read positive, 20 negative, and a flip level resolved within ±10% of spot on 40. This public dashboard is free forever: no key, no login.

Free  Gamma exposure (GEX) estimates how many dollars of stock option dealers would have to trade to stay hedged as the share price moves. When net GEX is positive, that hedging tends to lean against price moves; when negative, it tends to lean with them. Every number on these pages is an estimate built on a public convention — dealers long every call, short every put — and each page says so next to the figures. “Nightly” describes the rebuild cadence, not live or same-day data. The latest available snapshots in this build span 2026-08-31 to 2026-08-31; every row and ticker page states its own open-interest settlement date.

How to read this table

Net GEX

The estimated dollars of stock dealers must trade per 1% move, summed across the chain — calls counted positive, puts negative. The sign matters more than the decimals: this is an estimate, not observed data.

Regime

Positive means the estimated hedging leans against price moves; negative means it leans with them. That is a description of a mechanism, not a forecast — nobody has measured a hit rate for these states, and we will not pretend otherwise.

Zero gamma

The price at which estimated net gamma would cross zero — the same number people call the gamma flip level. "No crossing" means gamma keeps one sign across the whole ±10% range around spot: a state, not a failure. What is zero gamma?

Flip vs price

The distance from the last price to the zero gamma level, as a percentage. A wide gap means an ordinary session is unlikely to change the regime; a narrow one means it could.

Want this as JSON, for any optionable US ticker? The same calculation — same code, same assumptions — is a paid endpoint: GET /v1/gamma/{symbol}, with per-strike detail and every expiration broken out. Max pain has its own endpoint, /v1/maxpain. Those two options APIs have the same commercial position as Brooks and Weis: one $149/month plan covers all four Quant Data endpoints. See pricing and the API reference.

All figures are estimates from end-of-day open interest and quotes. The site is rebuilt nightly, but values remain stamped to their settlement dates and are not live readings (how we compute them, including the dealer-position assumption they all rest on). Educational only: not investment advice, not a recommendation, not a price forecast, and no hit rate has been measured for any level shown here.
