Eight pieces from five publishers: Micron's fiscal Q4 beat and lower gross-margin guide, a first look at FTAI's power business, and a contrarian Treasury note

On 2026-09-30, five research publishers tracked here (Damnang, FundaAI, James Bulltard, Macro Charts and TMT Breakout) published eight pieces. They include an expert-call report on Micron's HBM design (Damnang), an initiation of coverage on FTAI Aviation (FundaAI), a promotional event notice (FundaAI), an options-flow and personal trading recap (James Bulltard), a macro and signals update centered on Treasuries (Macro Charts), and three TMT Breakout notes: a pre-market wrap, an end-of-day wrap on Micron's fiscal fourth-quarter results, and a podcast table of contents. Every statement below is attributed to the publisher, or to the broker it relayed, using the publisher's own numbers. Quant Data did not verify any of these statements and takes no view on them.

What each piece said

Damnang · MU — [Expert Call Report] How Is Micron Making HBM Faster?

An expert-call report built on an interview with a Micron HBM interface designer. Damnang's source says HBM speed is limited by the DRAM core rather than the base die, so designers split each fast pin across several slower internal lanes, at the cost of more through-silicon vias. Damnang argues that custom base dies and 3D stacking may shift value to customers such as NVIDIA that control logic and interface. It notes the interview did not address pricing, yield or total HBM demand.

FundaAI · FTAI — Deep|FTAI: Aviation Aftermarket Meets AI Power

FundaAI initiates coverage of FTAI Aviation with a bullish view. It says the stock trades at about 10.5x forward EV/EBITDA against a two-year average of 15.1x, and that a reverse sum-of-the-parts implies the market ascribes roughly zero to Power, the business converting retired CFM56 engines into 25MW gas turbines (Mod-1). FundaAI values Power at about $82 per share in its base case and about $36 in a bear case, and acknowledges that much of its data comes from channel checks.

FundaAI — Join FUNDA at Tomorrow X Summit

A 172-word promotional post. FundaAI says it is sponsoring the Tomorrow X Summit in Austin on 2026-11-17 to 18, that 10 or more team members will attend, and that readers can get 20% off tickets through its partner link. FundaAI will speak on how enterprises build their own context layer for AI workflows. The post contains no company, financial or trading content.

James Bulltard · SPY — 9/30/26 Recap

James Bulltard's trading diary describes SPY as range-bound between 750 and 779.37 ahead of Micron's after-hours earnings. He reports selling puts and covered calls in his own portfolio and reviews options activity in U, LBRT, STLD, GEV and TXG. He flags rising yields, pressure on a BHF merger-arbitrage position and biotech risk in TXG. The recap gives no numerical Micron earnings expectations and does not explain TXG's business.

Macro Charts · TLT — Market Update & Signals 9/30/26

A market update and signals note. Macro Charts says Treasury futures shorts are crowded, its bond sentiment gauge sits at the 1.7th percentile and TLT put volume is at a record. It leans toward a contrarian bottom call in bonds and equities, pending the reaction to PCE, GDP, ISM, payrolls and Micron earnings. It cites midterm-year October seasonality and a large up-volume spike in XLU. The captured text gives no price levels, stops or position sizes.

TMT Breakout · MU — EOD Wrap: Micron (MU) First Takes

TMT Breakout's end-of-day wrap reports Micron fiscal Q4 revenue of $54.23B against a Street figure of about $51B, EPS of $33.42, and a Q1 revenue guidance midpoint of $61.5B. The one blemish it flags is a Q1 gross margin guide of 86.25% versus the buy side's roughly 87-88%; shares were up about 2% after hours. The wrap also covers the 10-year yield at 5.29%, a software rebound, and pullbacks in AI infrastructure names such as JBL, BE and CBRS.

TMT Breakout · MU — TMTB Morning Wrap

TMT Breakout's pre-market wrap sets out the buy-side bar for Micron's evening report: Q1 revenue guidance of about $59B versus a $56.5B Street figure, EPS near $37.5 and gross margin near 88%. It relays TrendForce's Q4 forecast of DRAM contract prices up 10-15% and NAND up 15-20%, Bernstein's first-time optical networking coverage, William Blair's neocloud initiation, and risks including delayed AI IPOs, a PJM pause and Korean buybacks possibly ending in mid-October.

TMT Breakout · CRWV — TMTB Podcast Intel: OpenAI DevDay Coverage, CoreWeave’s (CRWV) CEO on the First Vera Rubin Customer, SAP’s CEO on Whether the SaaSpocalypse Is Over, Spotify (SPOT) Co-Founder Daniel Ek

A table of contents for six AI podcast episodes, generated by Ethmos AI, with titles and links only and no figures. TMT Breakout lists episodes including OpenAI executives on compute needs and DevDay, CoreWeave's CEO saying Cognition is the first production customer on Vera Rubin, and SAP's CEO on whether AI will hurt software. Spotify co-founder Daniel Ek appears on the All-In podcast. Any conclusions require opening the original episodes.

Directional statements on the record

Each row is a dated fact: a named source expressed a direction on a named ticker. Where a publisher was relaying a broker's rating change, the originating voice is in the "via" column. None of this is a recommendation from Quant Data.

Common questions

What did paid research publishers publish on 2026-09-30?

8 pieces from 5 of the publishers tracked by Quant Data: Damnang, FundaAI, James Bulltard, Macro Charts, TMT Breakout. Eight pieces from five publishers: Micron's fiscal Q4 beat and lower gross-margin guide, a first look at FTAI's power business, and a contrarian Treasury note.

Are these Quant Data’s numbers?

No. Every figure on this page is attributed to the publisher that stated it and is reproduced as stated. Quant Data did not verify them. The only Quant Data numbers on the page are the counts of pieces and statements, and the settled options positioning shown for tickers that have a max pain page on this site.

Is a "bullish" entry in the statements table a recommendation?

No. The table records that a named source expressed a direction on a named ticker on a dated day, the way a clippings file would. It is not a signal and not advice. It exists so that the statements can be checked against what prices did afterwards.
